NEW BLOG And WeBSITE!

Welcome to the newest site and blog for RAH! It has been a long time since I had a blog and I am really ready to start sharing my work and stories with you all again.

A quick tutorial of the work you see on the new website. As some of you know, I have been a lifelong photographer shooting everything from Glamour Shots as an 18 year old at the mall in Indiana, to the newspaper as the advertising photographer, to world wide traveling wedding photographer for 10+ years — to family portraits and funky fresh fine art. Whew - that was over 30 years to try to descried in that long sentence!

At this point in life, I am honing in what I want to continue to shoot and I will say it still comes in many different forms. I love slowing waaay down to shoot on medium format film Plastic cameras, to light painting on digital cameras at night, to creative portraits of all the beautiful people, to loud live music. I have always worn many hats and carried many different varieties of tools to capture light. I hope to share the EYE of RAH on this site. My goal is to have is to have it constantly rotating in new work.

Speaking of NEW WORK, check out RAH paintings! I went to Columbia College in Chicago and studied Fine Art Photography. I had the explorer attitude at school as well and took all the different classes including drawing, painting and Tabla drumming. I always loved painting. I painted on and off throughout the years and currently I am adding studio time into my MUST HAVE scheduling column. If you see something you like, please share or BUY! I promise the proceeds go to buying more material to keep an artist working. THANK YOU!

I think that is all for now…. I so look forward to having a platform to share my recent adventures (look for some speak and images on my recent travels to Egypt) and hopefully connecting with some new and already known beautiful friends!

OHHH, before I go… A HUGE HUGE HUGE Shout out to my incredibly talented, amazing photo snapping, Tech Guru, Creative genius, Patient as a SAINT cousin… Mat Hutchins. Check him out too: www.hutchmd.com, www.matsphotomojo.com. I am forever grateful to you, Mat… bottom of my heart deep gratitude.
