Ohhhhh I love the rain! I really do. And the rain loves me. This is our tradition, this family and I. We shoot in the rain. Two years ago we shot in the rain here in Marin and then when I went to photograph them last weekend, Seattle gave us a return on the wet. It was super fun as always. Squishing around Pike’s Market and a quick run on the Pier. Loved every second. Thank you for having me and enjoy the photogrpahs somewhere warm and dry! xoxox
I did it! Whew! I like that I am ending this insanely busy season with this family at this location. It all seems perfect to me. I love photographing this family, we always have so much fun. They are the type of family that goes with my crazy ideas. I have put them in the middle of the road, in trees, and now I really wanted to shoot this location. It is the War Memorial in San Rafael. It is a crazy cool building and feels very cinematic to me. We did not discuss wardrobe, but come on… isn’t what the girls wearing so perfect for the space?! Sometimes I get lucky — or should I say… I get lucky over and over and over again. I am off to get some much deserved rest and Vitamin D on the Island of Anguilla. I will see you in December. I have one more session to shoot in Seattle that I am hyped about — do come check that out early next month.
ok, ok, ok! WOW! So this was my first time in the Alameda warehouse district and to say I was overwhelmed and excited is an huge understatement. I still feel like I have a lot to figure out there. I am so thankful to this family for so many years of pushing our photographic Holiday Portrait sessions to the creative max. They are truly a gift to me. Can you Name that album cover?? I will give you credit if you can just name the band :). LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU! xoxoox
Smushy beautiful love bugs!! Loved hanging with these girls again — and a quick run in Halloween costumes NEVER hurts.
Sorry for the quick note, I am trying to get as many shoots out before I leave this Friday to Anguilla!
I love photographing this beautiful family — they make looking good easy. Sometimes I think, if I mess this up, I don’t deserve to be a photographer. Such a beautiful family and an easy place to shoot. I sure hope I got it right.
Thank you for another great shoot – xoxo
I can’t believe that I have never been to this magical little spot. It is called Lovers Lane… and it really is a lovely spot. I always love seeing these two easy-going, smart, super smiley beautiful girls. I am lucky to document you yearly. Thank you for just being your true self in front of my camera.
